Chik-fil-A and idea of “hate-free” chicken sandwiches

I thought I would share this comment I read today:

With all this talk of “hate-free” chicken sandwiches at places other than Chik-fil-A, I’d just like to point out that selectively breeding animals so that their legs break under the weight of their torsos, confining them (either “free range” and stuffed into industrial barns or in tiny cages, they never have much space and don’t get to engage in natural behaviors like scratching and spreading their wings), then sliting their throats to kill them is anything but “hate-free.”
