The 21st September is World Peace Day. It is dedicated to peace, and specifically the absence of war and violence.
The 21st September is also the day that an innocent man, Troy Davis was murdered by lethal injection in 2011.
Approximately 179 million nonhumans are tortured and murdered each day. This figure does not include sea animals. We are deluded if we think we could ever achieve “world peace” while we continue to torture and murder nonhumans and view this as normal and morally acceptable. If we want to see the end of violence, then we must be nonviolent. A first step to this is to take violence off our plates, off our bodies, and out of our lives and that means we need to be vegan. Vegans do not use animals for food, clothing, entertainment or other reasons. Not vegan? Please start here http://www.vegankit.com/
